Dukan Diet Week 3 and 4
Week 3 and week 4 was really busy! In between work, studying and exercising, I had very little time left for anything else. During week 3 I slept less than 6 hours a night, and this eventually caught up with me. I could also see it on the scale, as I only lost a measly 700 gram.
But with that said, I still lost weight! Even with the additional energy drinks that I was having on the bicycle!
During week 4, I decided to drop the energy drinks during rides and I got a whole lot more sleep. The combination of these two resulted in a 1.3kg weight drop! I am also starting to feel a bit stronger on the bicycle.
The two weeks’ meals still included the usual steamed veggies, chicken and fish. I must admit that I am now well and truly over the idea of steaming the chicken breasts. It is way better to cookthem in a non-stick pan without oil.
Noticeable meals this week was a mean Peri Peri prawn salad, made with some Ina Paarman Peri Peri sauce, and Saturday morning’s scrambled egg and haddock on galette’s for breakfast.
